Kilákȟota is the Lakota word for decolonize or to become human again. Decolonizing is a buzz word often heard, however there is not a systematic method to “decolonize”. In this workshop we will address the question of what does it really mean to “decolonize”?

Together we will create a systematic action plan to begin “decolonizing, or “Becoming Human Again”, or Kilákȟota.

This learning space is available for small groups, organizations, communities, educators and schools.

Parents, students, community members, and educators who are interested in including Land Based Learning into lessons and/or curriculum. Using my passion for the Plant Relatives along with my understanding of traditional medicines, combined with my western training in Permaculture Design and Consumer Supported Agriculture, I would love to help create lessons and curriculum with a Land Based Learning focus.
